Turn 10 announce Forza Street for PC, mobile

Microsoft and Turn 10 Studios have announced Forza Street, a free-to-play 'race-on-the-go' kind of Forza experience, for PC, iOS and Android devices. You can download it right now if you have Windows 10, but mobile users will have to wait.

Codemasters confirm F1 2019 release date

Codemasters announced that F1 2019 is arriving on 28 June 2019, which is two months earlier than usual. In a short teaser trailer, a silhouette of an F2 car has been spotted which could suggest the introduction of a second-tier competition.

Dirt Rally 2.0 adding new cars and tracks

Codemasters have revealed their post-launch content plans for rally simulation Dirt Rally 2.0. In Season One, players will get new cars and three new rally tracks. The Season One officially starts on 12 March 2019 with Skoda Fabia Rally.

Project Cars 3 development confirmed

Slightly Mad Studios' CEO Ian Bell has confirmed the development of racing simulator Project Cars 3. In a post on GTPlanet forums, Bell said there will be a new Project Cars game but it will take a while before we get any additional info.

Crash Team Racing remaster announced

Activision announced Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, the remaster of the beloved PlayStation game that will come to all consoles, but not PC. On the good side of things, it will still support local multiplayer, with up to four people.

THQ Nordic have acquired IP rights to the classic racing game Carmageddon from Stainless Games. This means that Carmageddon joins the list of games like Darksiders, Red Faction and Jagged Alliance, which have been resurrected by the studio.

Not that it wasn't obvious that Microsoft and Playground Games have quite the driving title in Forza Horizon 4 but the sales numbers are quite impressive for a game that's available via the former's subscription service Game Pass.

During the Xbox fan event XO18, Playground Games announced Forza Horizon 4's first expansion to be Fortune Island, which takes you to the northern reaches of the British Isles and supposedly has the most extreme terrain in a Horizon game.

Forza Motorsport 7 removes loot boxes

The latest update to Microsoft and Turn 10's racing game Forza Motorsport 7, the less arcadey side of the Forza coin, has officially done away with loot boxes, replacing them instead with the Race Shop, where you can buy whatever, whenever.
