1C Game Studios have been teasing 3D scopes for Caliber for at least half a year now but if you are confused about why they are so important here is a quick rundown.
Even though the devs will tout certain improvements as the highlight of the update, such as better representation of the player's current action, seeing the weapon's camo and lighting effects or new potential customisation options in the future, the best thing for the average player will be none of those things.
Instead, it is all about clarity.
Namely, when the 3D scopes arrive, they will be clear and will not have things that mess with the visibility, such as fingerprints or dirt. As you can see on the header image, the new scope will be completely clear, allowing you to see enemies through it better.
On the flip side, the enemies will also get better scopes so it will not be an advantage for just one side, provided you picked the right operator.
Not everyone will get the 3D upgrade in the same patch, with only 49 operators having them on launch day:
- Recruit assault
- Recruit support
- Recruit medic
- Recruit marksman
- Volk
- Almaz
- Ded
- Koszmar
- Mikolaj
- Prorok
- Sztylet

Presumably, the rest of the 3D sights will come in a future update as even some of the operators on the list won't have them for the default sight, only collimator and telescopic ones.
Don't miss:
