Heavy nerfs and welcomed buffs are coming to Caliber soon and all the details are up for previewing. Here are the highlights.

Caliber's next major balance patch is dropping on Wednesday, November 8, 2023.

1C Game Studios already released the balance changes on their website and they are quite lengthy. If you don't feel like going through all of them, here are the highlights.

First - Yingzhou, Watson, Sultan and Komar have lost their hitscan privileges. This equalised the snipers with the other bolt-action users who otherwise stood no chance against these two while Watson and Sultan will not be that good at peeking anymore.

Avant-Garde is likely to become a menace in PvP as his fire rate is going up by 14 per cent, meaning if you see him at close range, you are already dead. On the flip side, Acai is the only one who can outdamage him at point blank but nothing more since his sawed-off shotgun will have 50 per cent more spread when firing both barrels at once.

Aphela is likely to become laughing stock as she will no longer be able to move when her Last Stand activates. If you get her HP down, just duck behind a corner to let her die as she can no longer chase you.

Caliber - Svarog is now one of the top tier operators
Svarog is getting stronger with every patch

Faro's DPS has been toned down a little bit but he remains strong. Mustang's underbarrel shotgun has one ammo less now but he still gets them with executions. This means the duo will remain top tier, with Rein joining in as his grenades are getting buffed significantly.

Stern and Svarog are getting buffed through their weapon damage which went from 17 to 19, meaning they should both be in the upper echelons of the support role now. Stern can also apply the shield on himself quicker now.

Corsair lost another 10 HP, making him the squishiest operator in the game, with only Perun as competition for the crown. Perun can become a glass cannon with his ability though, which is not the case with Corsair, who also lost half the range on his C4 and his ability's debuffs don't last as long.

Sly's secondary fire rate has been halved which means she won't be able to delete people as quickly and her Impersonation gained an additional 10 seconds of cooldown. She should be much more manageable now.

Busel's ability will no longer turn his bolt-action rifle into a machinegun and Lazootchick's noob tube will not be able to kill people with more than 105 health. His weapon will become more reliable if you opt to reduce its range by 10m though.
