Do you have the speedrun extravaganza itch that needs scratching?
Well, you can satisfy it from January 14 to 21, 2024, when Awesome Games Done Quick goes through an estimated 153 hours and 46 minutes of just that kind of content.
All that time is alotted for 142 different games the players will be able to enjoy or at least catch a glimpse of because blinking might just be enough to miss an escapade from one of the talented runners.
Some of the highlights include completing Dark Souls in 55 minutes or less and a soulslike, Steelrising, in 50 minutes or less. The runs will be done by Regole and NicowithaC, respectively.
If co-op speedruns are more your thing, you can check out Borderlands 2 in 85 minutes or less by UnjustAction and Deceptix_. While people may have dozens of hours of fun before going through all the content in the game, it is possible to complete it in less than an hour and a half.
If those numbers don't pique your curiousity, maybe completing Elden Ring in 20 minutes will. Mitchriz will undertake this task and almost certainly have to rely on an exploit or two to get through it that quickly.
