Dead by Daylight introduces the Alien Chapter with the Xenomorph as the killer and Ellen Ripley as the survivor so get ready to face a threat that is truly out of this world.

The newest addition to Dead by Daylight is the Alien Chapter with another licensed killer, the Xenomorph, and pairing survivor, Ellen Ripley

Behaviour usually pushes all updates and rank resets to happen on the 13th of a month but this update is slightly different. The community is certain that the new chapter will be going live on August 29 at roughly 5 pm CET and it will be available for purchase for everyone for the price of roughly 7€ since it features only one survivor and one killer along with a matching themed map.

The other licensed killers feature Leatherface, the Demogrogon, the Shape, the Ghostface, the Onryo, the Mastermind, Hellraiser and a few others.

While the Demogorgon had been removed from the game and made unavailable for purchase, all of the other killers can still be played just fine. There are talks that due to the Texas Chainsaw Massacre game going live very recently, the Leatherface will also be getting removed but as of right now, there are no reliable sources saying that so Bubba stays safe in the Entity's basement.

As for the Alien chapter, the perks that are being introduced on both the survivor and the killer side seem very intriguing and have the potential to change the meta a little bit and make some space for themselves.

Of course, as the DLC goes live and gets experienced by both survivors and killers, it will probably undergo many tweaks and changes just like Mikaela Raid's healing boons or Decisive Strike.
