Destiny 2 is teasing the next two Halloween sets and this year will be the one where most people's wishes get fulfilled.
Bungie altered the rules for voting on the next Festival of the Lost ornament set but it's safe to say most Destiny 2 players will be happy about it.
Instead of voting for an entire ornament set like in previous years, 2023 will have people vote for each class separately.
Such an approach may sound a little confusing at first but it's generally best for enthusiasts of each class.
This year's voting competition is between Scarab and Spider themes. In previous years, whichever team got more votes would be released for all classes.
For example, if team Scarab gained more overall votes, all three classes would get ornaments from this category, even if most Titans wanted Spider ornaments, for example.
Players can vote through their Bungie account where they can designate their primary class and that is the vote that will count towards the results. If Hunters, who are the most numerous in Destiny, choose Scarabs, it will make no difference for Warlocks or Titans who may want to get Spider ornaments instead.
Guardians who enjoy more than one class can choose their secondary on the Bungie site and then vote for that class' choice as well.
In the end, it looks like we will be getting ornaments from both Scarab and Spider themes, depending on which class you are looking forward to.
