One goose was a menace enough but the denizens of the idyllic village will have to contend with two when Untitled Goose Game gets co-op multiplayer next month.
Horrible people around the world will be able to team up on September 23, 2020. From this horrendous day onwards, they will be able to control two unbearable geese and pester villagers for no good reason other than watching their frustration.
This date coincides with the Steam release so fans will be able to get co-op on Gaben's store from the get-go. The official store page states it features full controller support which will definitely be handy due to multiplayer being of the local nature.
While online multiplayer would be convenient for many players, being a pain in the side is more fun when you get to do it with a loved one as a honking partner.
The multiplayer component will be available on all platforms, including Steam and Itch.io which will get their releases on the same day. Co-op will be available through the entire game and the geese can apparently carry each other around in a box.
The multiplayer update will be available at no extra cost for anyone which is definitely a big plus as well.
