Obsidian Entertainment's RPG The Outer Worlds is just under two months from the official release, which means that more and more details about the game will be dropping as we get closer and closer to launch.
Today, the developers shared a brand new trailer, which shows off a new colony named Halcyon. On this colony, players will get to visit many exciting locations including Terra 2, Monarch and more, it's stated in the official description.
Judging by the trailer, Halcyon could be one of the prettiest places in The Outer Worlds as it's packed with waterfalls, giant trees and other, unique flora. However, you probably won't spend a lot of time admiring these beautiful vistas as the trailer also showcases some of the local alien wildlife. These creatures will try their best to make your adventure on Halcony as though as possible so gear up well before you venture out in the wild.
Of course, Halcyon will also offer a lot of quests and work for those who love to earn some money or shiny new items. From scientific tests on mutated pigs to mercenary work, Halcyon has it all.
Furthermore, the latest trailer really does show the game in its full glory and its safe to say that The Outer Worlds will be one pretty title. The world is colourful and diverse and offers a great variety of locations. You surely won't get bored by the game's looks.
The Outer Worlds is officially hitting the shelves on 25 October 2019 for PC via Epic Games and Microsoft Store, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Obsidian also announced Nintendo Switch version, which will release sometime after the initial launch. Also, the Steam version will arrive in late 2020.
