Ubisoft have officially revealed The Division 2 private beta dates in their latest story trailer. Private beta testing will run from 07 to 11 February 2019 and here's how you can participate even if you wisely passed on pre-ordering.

If you're looking to try out Ubisoft's upcoming looter shooter before buying it, you'll have your chance to do so in one of the upcoming betas. Ubisoft will host private and open beta tests and will offer everyone a chance to play.

Private beta access is guaranteed for those who pre-ordered The Division 2 but Ubisoft will also send invites to those who would rather try the game before reaching for their wallet.

If for some reason you won't be able to play the open beta, or simply want to experience post-apocalyptic Washington D.C. as soon as possible go to Ubisoft's website and sign up for a chance to participate in the private beta.

Just choose your preferred platform, hit the "Sign Up" button, and with a bit of luck, Ubisoft will send you the code once they start rolling out invitations. Of course, this method doesn't guarantee a spot in the private beta but from our personal experience, Ubisoft are very generous with invites so there's a big chance you'll get an invite in exchange for some information and early stress-testing labours.

As for the open beta, it will probably go live a week or two after the closed one, at least that was the case with the original game.

Information about the amount of content in the beta is pretty scarce at the moment. It's still unknown which part of Washington D.C. players will get to explore and what features will be available. It will probably have similar limitations to those of The Division beta with a couple of story missions and a bit of The Dark Zone.

You can find the private beta sign up form on Ubisoft's , and for more info about the game, check the recent that introduced four enemy factions and a new base of operations among other things.
