Ubisoft and Capcom's collaboration on the crossover between The Divison 2 and Resident Evil franchise resulted in an event that will go on for two weeks in February.
Resident Evil event in The Division 2 will kick off on February 2, 2021, and will go on for two weeks, ending on February 15. It appears that the event will mostly behave like the regular apparel events in TD2 since the trailer announced a bunch of cosmetics and not much else.
Players who participate in the event will have a chance to acquire iconic outfits of several Resident Evil characters, including Leon Kennedy, Jill Valentine, Chris Redfield, HUNK, Rebecca Chambers and possibly another S.T.A.R.S. member.
It's currently just a guess but most outfits will probably be earned through the themed loot boxes that can be gained during the event, through either direct purchases or gaining several promotions.
Leon Kennedy's RPD outfit will be an exception to this rule as you will be able to grab it by simply logging in to The Division 2 at any point during the event.
Currently, there is no information on whether a crossover quest, appearance, lore entry or a video of some sort will be available as the trailer below only showed the outfits.
Besides that, the trailer also doesn't show any references to a sandwich named Jill which is disappointing. Barry will not be pleased.
