The empires of Stellaris have spent too much time looking to the stars in search of answers. Now, with a crick in their necks and still plenty of queries, they decided to look under the same ground on which they built their civilizations.

Players will be able to literally dig into the past and uncover valuable Relics that speak of old civilizations, their identity and their downfall. Each archaeological site kicks off a story that will take the players between one and six chapters to investigate. In the end, they may end up with a powerful boost to their empires.

The worlds of Stellaris were once home to two extinct Precursor civilizations, the Baol and the Zroni. The plantoid hive mind and the psionics have left behind their homes, clues about who they were and lessons for those who are yet to come.

Relic Worlds offer nothing but abandoned ruins and dormant mysteries. Here, players are guaranteed to find viable archaeological sites, replete with powerful relics and artefacts.
