Silent Hill fans on Reddit have found a mysterious message in the Silent Hill Townfall trailer audio which states "Whatever heart this town had has now stopped"
Silent Hill fans have discovered a mysterious message in the audio file of the first teaser trailer for Annapurna Interactive's upcoming horror title Silent Hill Townfall .
Redditor MilkManEX run the audio through spectrograph in Audacity to discover the following sentence: "Whatever heart this town had has now stopped".
We would say it's obvious that the message refers to the town where Townfall will be set. It warns us that the town is no longer what it used to be, probably refering to people not being there anymore or that something else, sinister, has taken over.
We like it very much and hopefully, there's more hidden stuff in the trailer and future trailers for players to discover. It's certainly great to see that Annapurna and developer No Code are already building the narrative for this title, which could turn out to be a proper Silent Hill story, veiled in mystery and with incredible atmosphere.
Townfall is developed by Annapurna Interactive and No Code and it's a spin-off of the Silent Hill franchise. We don't have details on this one but it's meant to be an expanded concept on Silent Hill.
Silent Hill Townfall still does not have a release date nor confirmed platforms so it's safe to assume that it will take some time before we get to play it.
