Turn-based RPG from Sabotage Studio is also launching day one on PlayStation Plus, along with the previously announced day one launch on Xbox Game Pass.

Shortly after announcing the day one release on Microsoft's subscription service Xbox Game Pass, developers of the upcoming role-playing game Sea of Stars have revealed more exciting news, this time, for all PlayStation owners.

Sea of Stars will also launch on Sony's subscription service PlayStation Plus on day one, Sabotage Studio said. It's safe to say that this is a very surprising announcement, given that games usually launch on either PS Plus or Game Pass and certainly not on both.

But obviously, this is great news for all players as Sea of Stars will now be available on Game Pass for PC and consoles as well as PlayStation. The only platform where you'll need to buy the game to play it is Nintendo Switch.

In case you are not familiar with Sea of Stars, it's a turn-based RPG inspired by classic video games, featuring a distinct pixel art style.

The game lets you lead a group of heroes on their adventure as they try to fend off creatures of the evil alchemist known as The Fleshmancer. Sea of Stars will be launching on August 29, 2023.
