Valorant's next map seems to be named Breeze and will be the polar opposite of The Icebox, no pun intended.
As summer days are nearing, Riot Games are teasing the next map that's coming to Valorant, appropriately themed after sunshine and beaches. Given the fact that this year's seaside vacations will not be a possibility for many due to Covid-19 restrictions, it's nice to think that players will at least find solace in Breeze.
There are three promotional images Riot posted about Breeze and the map is based in a tropical location but it's hard to tell if it's an island or not. In the end, it probably doesn't even matter.
The actual sea may be close to the playing area but it's hard to imagine Riot will just add water into the mix willy nilly so we will likely just wade through the sharp corners of old fort ruins and sneak behind the crates, in hopes that someone is not guarding the exact angle we're wading into.
Since these are just early teasers, there is no release date attached to the Twitter post but it's pretty clear we're looking at late spring or early summer by now.
