Ubisoft have delayed their extreme sports title Riders Republic once again, this time to October 28, 2021. Rumour has it that the game might have some development troubles.
This is the second delay for both of these games and it's starting to look like these project might have stumbled upon some issues on their way towards the release date.
Riders Republic, which is one of Ubisoft's most anticipated games reportedly has some major problems, which simply cannot be resolved.
The rumours about these issues first appeared back in March 2021, shortly after the first delay. A well-known industry insider Tom Henderson revealed that despite the delay, Riders Republic is in such a bad state that another delay will probably be coming.
A person close to the game told Henderson that "there’s no way to fix most of these core issues".
Fast forward to today, and it seems that the rumour could be true. However, even with the recent delay, we still don't think Riders Republic is an unplayable, broken mess, like these rumours are trying to portray it.
Just take every unofficial info with a grain of salt until we get more news about the game from Ubisoft directly.
Also, the dev team announced yesterday that a beta test for the game is coming soon, which will be a perfect opportunity to try out the game and see for yourself if it's worth your hard earned money.
