According to reliable insider Dusk Golem, Resident Evil Revelations 3 aka Resident Evil Outrage will launch sometime in late 2021 or early 2022 and will be timed exclusive for Nintendo Switch.
Rumours about Resident Evil Revelations 3 have been floating around the gaming forums and social media for several months now but Capcom are yet to officially announce such title. Thanks to a reliable leaker and insider for all things horror, Dusk Golem, we know that the game is in development and should be coming soon.
In his most recent tweets, Dusk Golem revealed that Resident Evil Revelations 3 has been renamed and will probably release under a different moniker - Resident Evil Outbreak. This has also been revealed in the leaked Capcom files.
Dusk Golem also states that the game will almost definitely be a timed exclusive for Nintendo Switch and it's being built for Switch but this info and the announcement won't be coming soon since Capcom's main focus is on the upcoming Village.
Additionally, he reveals that the game uses the Resident Evil engine that's compatible with Switch, similar to how Monster Hunter Rise was ported to the hybrid console. "It won't be the best looking RE game, but it'll still look pretty damn good, especially on Switch," he said.
As for the release date, Resident Evil Outrage will arrive within a year of Village's release date which means we can expect it in late 2021 or early 2022.
