Rebel Wolves has released a new teaser for The Blood of Dawnwalker, showcasing previously unseen characters and locations from the vampire action RPG's Carpathian Mountains setting alongside the game's official cover art and main musical theme.

Rebel Wolves and Bandai Namco Entertainment have released a new teaser for The Blood of Dawnwalker, timed to coincide with January's full moon, known as the Wolf Moon. The video showcases new characters and locations from Vale Sangora, the mysterious Carpathian Mountains region where the vampire action RPG takes place.

The teaser features gameplay captured from the current PC beta build, offering a glimpse at previously unseen areas players will explore when the game launches later this year. Vale Sangora promises to hide numerous secrets waiting for discovery across its 14th-century setting.

Alongside the teaser, Rebel Wolves revealed the official cover art depicting protagonist Coen against a solar eclipse backdrop. Coen is a Dawnwalker, cursed to live as a human by day and vampire by night, with both celestial bodies playing crucial roles in the game's world and mechanics.

The studio also debuted The Blood of Dawnwalker's main musical theme, filmed during a recording session with the AUKSO Chamber Orchestra of Tychy. Lead composer Nikola Kołodziejczyk explained the composition leans heavily on sounds and instruments associated with the game's time period and location.

"The theme leans heavily on sounds and instruments associated with the place and time of the game – the 14th century, at the foot of the Carpathian Mountains," Kołodziejczyk said. "We wanted to pay homage to that era and its people, and stay as true to historical authenticity as possible."

Rebel Wolves released a retrospective video celebrating the past year, from the initial reveal through extensive gameplay presentations and appearances at major industry events. The studio thanked the community for feedback and support whilst promising more updates soon.

The Blood of Dawnwalker is being developed in Unreal Engine 5 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S with a 2026 release window. The game is available to wishlist now on digital storefronts. Rebel Wolves, founded by former CD Projekt Red developers, is working with Bandai Namco Entertainment as publisher.
