The long-awaited gameplay reveal for The Blood of Dawnwalker is happening this weekend, June 21, during a special livestream event hosted by Rebel Wolves and Bandai Namco Entertainment.
The stream kicks off at 12 PM PDT / 3 PM EDT / 9 PM CEST, coinciding with the Summer Solstice, a clever twist considering the game’s vampire themes. After all, it’s the longest day of the year – not exactly a vampire’s favorite.
Fans can expect an approximate 45-minute stream, featuring over 15 minutes of gameplay footage and deep developer insights into Dawnwalker’s magic, traversal, and combat systems.
The presentation will be hosted in English, and will be co-streaming friendly, making it easy for creators to join the reveal festivities. You can watch it on the studio's official Twitch channel.
What Is The Blood of Dawnwalker?
The Blood of Dawnwalker is the debut project from Rebel Wolves, a studio founded by former CD Projekt RED developers who worked on The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The team is aiming to craft a story-driven, dark fantasy RPG with rich worldbuilding and choice-driven gameplay, promising a new take on vampire mythology with high production values and mature themes.
While plot specifics are still under wraps, the game is built using Unreal Engine 5, and early concept art teases a grim, supernatural world filled with dangerous magic and haunting landscapes.
This weekend’s showcase will offer the first real glimpse at how that world plays - including how combat works, how players will explore the game’s environments, and more.
Given that the people working on the game have some incredible video games in their portfolio, The Blood of Dawnwalker is quickly becoming one of the most anticipated upcoming RPGs. If you’ve been waiting to see whether it lives up to the hype, this weekend is your chance to find out.
The Blood of Dawnwalker is coming to PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
