PUBG Corp. have announced a new crossover event which will add a special Horizon Zero Dawn outfit option to players on PS4, starting 05 March 2019. The offer will include a total of four items - mask, top, skin for Kar98k and unique pan.
PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds and Sony are partnering again to bring another set of items to PlayStation 4 players. This time, the collaboration also includes Guerilla Games and their critically acclaimed action-adventure Horizon Zero Dawn.
From 05 March to 5 April 2019, players will get the chance to unlock four Horizon Zero Dawn themed items using the in-game currency or simply by logging in and playing.
The pack includes a Horizon Zero Dawn Eclipse top, mask, Kar98k skin and a frying pan with a Horizon Zero Dawn logo.
Every player who logs into the game during the event period will receive the top, while the mask can be claimed by playing 10 PUBG matches.
For the Kar98k skin, you'll have to shell out 8,000 BP. If you don't have the coin, these are earned just by playing the game..
The pan is yours once you get 10 kills with the crossbow during the event period. This one could prove to be tricky for some players and to make it a bit easier, finishing off downed players with the crossbow will also count as kill during the event.
For Horizon Zero Dawn fans these are certainly welcomed additions that should also satisfy other players as they are free and decent looking items.
This is PUBG's third crossover on PlayStation 4. Previously, PUBG Corp. tried to incentivise preorders on PlayStation 4 by offering a Nathan Drake Uncharted outfit and Ellie's backpack from The Last of Us.
Other collabs that arrived on PC and Xbox One include DC Comics crossover event, which added two pricey skins - The Joker and Harley Quinn from Batman franchise.
