PlayStation Plus Essential subscribers will get a total of three "free" games in January 2023 including Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Fallout 76 and Axiom Verge 2.
PlayStation Plus is off to a good start with a pretty solid lineup of "free" games for all PlayStation Plus subscribers. Thanks to reliable leaker billbill-kun from dealabs , we have the list of all games that will be part of the PlayStation Plus Essential in January 2023. Check it out below.
PlayStation Plus January 2023 games
- Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5)
- Fallout 76 (PlayStation 4)
- Axiom Verge 2 (PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5)
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is certainly the biggest highlight of the January 2023 lineup but Fallout 76 is also another big one, especially if you dig survival games and the Fallout franchise. It's interesting that Fallout 76 is included given how Sony are doing their best to prove that Xbox are keeping Bethesda games away from the PlayStation platform.
The third game is Axiom Verge, a pixelated action-adventure metroidvania, which is a nice addition for those who appreciate indies more than AAA bangers.
We expect to get the official confirmation of the January PlayStation Plus games very soon. PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers should also get the lineup of Games Catalogue additions in the next couple of days.
