PUBG esports is ready for another step as PCS 3 details have been unveiled by PUBG Corp for all the regions involved.
PUBG Corp announced that CPS 3 will consist of four regional tournaments across Europe, North America, Asia and Asia-Pacific. The total prize pool will be $800,000, with each region having $200,000 for themselves.
The lion's share of a regional prize pool will go to the winner, as one might expect, which will be decided during the PCS 3 grand final. Before that happens, there will be the qualifying rounds.
In the case of Europe, it will unfold from October 13 to 18 with matches starting at 18:00 CEST each day. Group Stage will be the first step in which 24 teams will duke it out for one of the 16 places in the grand final which will grant them a share of the $200,000 prize pool.
All matches will be available on PUBG Esports' Twitch and YouTube channels. James "Kaelris" Carrol, Steven "Toffees" Pierce, Martin "Avngr" Gøth, Patrick "Frosz" Iu, Tobias "TheNameIsToby" Wiinblad, Richard "TheSimms" Simms and Michael "hypoc" Robins will be the casters and analysts of the event.
Grand finals for each region will happen back to back with western and eastern ones happening at the same time. The tournaments will go on for three weekends for each region or two weekends in total:
- Europe: November 7-8; 14-15; 21-22
