Krafton announced the particulars of the upcoming qualifiers in Europe and the Americas and the players can now look forward to PGC.

PUBG Global Championship (PGC) 2021 is the big one of the year as far as PUBG esports go and the details for the qualifiers in Europe and the Americas are now out.

PGC for these two regions was aligned in order to create a standardised format that will be used for the entire tournament's qualifier rounds. One of the changes coming with the new system is that the regions' rosters will earn points by performing well at other PUBG esports tournaments during the year, hence making them more important than before.

Those competing in PCS 4 and 5 events will get more PGC Qualification Points but teams will also be able to earn additional points at third-party events.

ESL PUBG Masters: Spring will be the first opportunity to earn PGC qualification points. This is where European top teams will be competing for the lion share of the $50,000 prize pool. There will be an open qualification round for the tournament so anyone from the region can try to get themselves a place at the main event.

Furthermore, ESL PUBG Masters: Spring schedule is now out:

  • Open Qualifiers: March 31-April 2, 2021
  • Stage 1: April 10-11, 2021
  • Stage 2: April 16-18, 2021
  • Grand Finals: April 23-25, 2021
