Ninja Theory today shared four new Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 screenshots, showcasing an incredible level of visual detail that this Xbox exclusive is bringing.

Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 is one of the biggest upcoming Xbox exclusives in 2024 and it's safe to say that many players who played the original game have this Ninja Theory title high on their list.

This action-adventure is out in May 2024 and the dev team today reminded us what to expect when it comes to the visual quality of their new game by sharing four new breathtaking screenshots, which you can check out here.

These new screenshots have been captured in-game using the Photo Mode, which will be available in Hellblade 2 on launch. This will certainly be music to all virtual photographers' ears. Sadly, we didn't get to see Photo Mode in action but it's safe to expect a bunch of various settings that will allow players to take sweet-looking photos.

The screenshots that Ninja Theory shared certainly look nothing short of spectacular with an incredible level of detail, especially in the up-close shots of Senua's face. You can pretty much see every little mark on her skin but the detail in the eyes probably steals the show.

It does seem like Hellblade 2 is shaping up to be one of those titles that truly push the next-gen hardware to its limits. The game could be a big tech showpiece for the Xbox Series X|S consoles if the performance and resolution end up being acceptable once the game launches.

We are still waiting to see if Hellblade 2 utilises any form of ray tracing but given that Ninja Theory really focused on lifelike graphics, it wouldn't come as a surprise that their action-adventure comes with a full suite of this modern tech.

Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 is set to launch on May 21, 2024, for PC and Xbox Series X|S consoles. The game will be a digital-only release and is priced at $50. Game Pass subscribers will get to play it on day one just like every other Xbox exclusive so far.
