Big Xbox exclusive Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 is just around the corner and developer Ninja Theory have recently decided to share something new from the game every day until the official May 21, 2024 release date.
Today, the team shared a short video in which they showcase the game's incredible Photo Mode that will allow all players and virtual photographers to create some seriously stunning screenshots.
The video, which you can check here, reveals that players will get to use all the usual camera tools like depth of field, focus distance, exposure and plenty of other stuff that I don't understand but I'm sure photographers do.
One thing that did leave me impressed is the lighting tool, which allows players to place manual light sources in the scene to light nearby objects, characters like Senua and the brute she's fighting in the video.
In addition, under the Character tab in the Photo Mode options, you can change the position of the character by moving or rotating them, which is certainly a great addition that will make taking photos in Hellblade 2 much easier.
A bunch of filters are also available so you'll get to choose from the original game look, black and white, horror and many, many other filters.
The Photo Mode Ninja Theory showcased in the video is certainly one of the most advanced ones we've ever seen in a video game so hats off to the developer who put the effort into a feature that isn't necessarily the most important one to the players.
Having such a detailed Photo Mode is certainly great given that Hellblade 2 looks quite spectacular and it would be a darn shame if we didn't get all the fancy tools to capture those gorgeous vistas.
Hellblade 2 is one of the biggest Xbox exclusives this year and it's hitting Game Pass for console, cloud and PC day one.
