Pathfinder: Kingmaker and Wrath of the Righteous saw a lot of success, for which Owlcat Games deservedly got a lot of spotlight.
However, many fans were saddened that they wouldn't get to explore the universe more with similar CRPGs in the near future since the studio is now working on Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader.
As such, the new best hope for Pathfinder fans might be Abomination Vaults, which is a hack 'n' slash title that uses the setting of the similarly-named tabletop adventure.
On the other hand, it will still be a while before this game gets in our hands since the game is only looking for support on Kickstarter at the moment and has no ETA.
You might be worried about how a tabletop RPG will translate into a hack 'n' slash video game but Abomination Vaults' structure makes it basically one big dungeon which should fit well with the genre.
The game is in development by BKOM Studios, a relatively unknown Canadian developer that doesn't really have any big games under their belt. They do have smaller titles, however, and they have won numerous awards thus far.
