Atlus has released the Version 1.03 update for Persona 3 Reload on Nintendo Switch 2, adding a Performance Mode targeting 60 FPS in TV Mode alongside frame rate stability improvements and the game's first sale on the platform.

Atlus has deployed the Version 1.03 update for Persona 3 Reload on Nintendo Switch 2, introducing a Performance Mode that targets 60 FPS alongside improved frame rate stability across all play modes. The update coincides with the RPG's first sale on Nintendo's latest console.

The Performance Mode exclusively functions in TV Mode, aiming to deliver 60 frames per second for smoother gameplay. Both TV Mode and Handheld Mode have received frame rate stability improvements regardless of the selected performance setting. The update for the free demo version will roll out in the coming days, though Atlus has not specified an exact release timeframe.

Persona 3 Reload is now available at 15% off on the Nintendo eShop through January 4, 2026, marking the first discount for the Switch 2 version. Players can test the game through a free demo before purchasing, with save data carrying over to the full version.

The reimagined RPG launched earlier this year to critical acclaim, winning the Award for Excellence at the Japan Game Awards 2024. The modernised version features a revamped battle system, cutting-edge graphics, and enhanced audio with an all-new English voice cast. Persona 3 Reload sold over one million copies within its first week on other platforms.

The Switch 2 port brings Atlus' celebrated JRPG to Nintendo's newest hardware following successful releases on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. The addition of Performance Mode specifically addresses one of the most requested features for handheld versions of the game, though its limitation to TV Mode may disappoint players hoping for 60 FPS in portable play.
