A fresh batch of Demacia-inspired skins have been added to League of Legends PBE, including new looks for four champions and more content for one of the game’s most popular cosmetic themes.
Joining the ranks of Demacia’s Brave are Prestige Veiled Lady Morgana, Durand’s Legacy Taliyah, Petricite Cho’Gath and Petricite Nautilus, each of which play into the kingdom’s signature militaristic armour designs, gleaming flourishes, and anti-magic theming.
Riot has also added a Nexus Finisher based around the kingdom.The items are expected to be available in a future update and are already available on PBE for early testing.
Prestige Veiled Lady Morgana
Morgana’s Prestige skin trades her usual dark colouring in favour of more ceremonial hues. Details are focused on gold flourishes and stylised light touches that suggest a more divine and ceremonial version of the character.
Morgana’s visual effects match the Prestige line’s general tone of elegance and composition over general abrasiveness. The skin is bundled in with an upcoming Demacia event and will be available as a battle pass reward.
Durand’s Legacy Taliyah
Taliyah’s new skin is a design convergence of her character theme of stone manipulation and Demacia’s armour craftsmanship. Her stone effects are given a more stylised, armoury look that utilises carved reliefs and heraldic imagery.
The result is a softer version of the Champion that combines her affinity with natural power and a militaristic grace. The skin is also bundled with eight chromas, suggesting it will be part of the battle pass selection.
Petricite Cho’Gath
Cho’Gath has received a rework into a heavy armour set that functions as magic-suppressing construct. The champion is given an aura of bulk, with a more mechanical and composed aesthetic.
His visual effects are heavily toned down and overall feel to be more subdued than his usual animations. The skin places more emphasis on conveying the physical presence and resonant heaviness of the champion’s attacks. The skin is also bundled with eight chromas, again suggesting a battle pass placement for the champion.
Petricite Nautilus
Nautilus rounds out the Demacian line with a full suit of petricite armour. The skin design plays up petricite’s traditional theme of magic suppression in both ability effects and armour detailing.
The net result is a skin that matches the overall colour scheme and weighty, methodical movement of the champion.
Demacia Nexus Finisher
The Demacia theme finisher has also been added to the client. The animation makes use of flashing lights, heroic depictions and prominent Demacian iconography before setting on a final pose.
The Nexus Finisher is available for 250 RP and offers a good fit for players who want a full thematic fit for their skins.
