League of Legends is set to kick off its 2026 season with one of the largest and most wide-reaching itemisation overhauls the game has seen in years. Riot has announced several new items which target specific champ classes, as well as two popular returns players have been clamoring for and talking about for several seasons.
The designers hope these items will help shift build paths, increase clarity between roles, and provide players with more defined late-game options without bloating the already overcrowded shop. From top to bottom, the additions attempt to plug several itemization gaps which have existed for years.
AP bruisers are getting their first legitimate on-hit option, assassins can convert kills to objectives, ADCs have new crit spikes, and tanks/enchanters are getting some beefy scaling tools that double down on their identities. Here’s the full list of every new item announced so far for 2026.
All New Items Coming to League of Legends in 2026
Scepter of Bonking
An AP bruiser item for champions that slot auto-attacks between abilities. It provides doubled on-hit effects, which translates to faster passive stacks and tighter weave windows for champions like Diana or Gwen. The item is designed around melee mages that need to spin a spell-auto-auto combo to be viable.
Emblem of All-Inning
A Zeal-based crit item for bolder ADCs that need to commit to an all-in engage. The item provides ultimate ability haste, and guarantees a runic cutlass proc on your next three attacks after using your ultimate. If one of these attacks was already going to crit, the item instead provides bonus true damage instead. The result is a crisper, more focused mid-game spike for marksmen.
Blood Sphere
Fighters and skirmishers have a new sustain-based option in Blood Sphere. It provides ability haste, AD, omnivamp, and tenacity that scales with bonus AD. Omnivamp is what makes the item tick, as after takedowns it increases significantly to enable longer fight streaks and more duelling prowess.
Unnamed Assassin Item
Assassins have a new late-game conversion tool. After a takedown, your next attack against epic monsters or structures creates a sizable damage over time effect based on lethality. The item also grants a random spell of yours true damage for a short time periodically. The intent of the item is to help assassins convert their plays into map pressure.
Mananomicon
A new active item, one of the first in a long while. Activating the item places you in an empowered state that costs extra mana to provide enhanced damage, shield and heal scaling, and cooldown reduction. All of the item’s benefits scale with total mana, making it a late-game monster for mages that stack a high-mana core.
Snowbow
A long-range ADC item that grants AD based on distance to your target. Upon a takedown your attack range is increased significantly, enabling huge cleanup. Champions like Ashe and Caitlyn stand out as clear users of the item.
Buff Engine
A support aura item for tanky initiators. After a slow or immobilise on an enemy, nearby allies get a large attack speed boost. Melee supports can more consistently keep this aura active due to their position on the frontline.
Mantle of the Twelfth Hour
A defensive item that activates when a tank drops to low health. It activates a powerful heal over time effect that scales with both bonus armour and magic resistance, as well as providing movement speed and tenacity to help either follow up a play safely or escape.
Saviour’s Manabell & Superbell
A two-step scaling line for enchanters. Manabell amplifies the strength of heals and shields based on mana. Its higher form, Superbell, passively heals the ally with the lowest health every 1 second during combat. The result is a level of sustained healing during late-game team fights that is unmatched.
Stormrazor (Returning item)
Stormrazor is the returning AD carry item. Its an Attack Damage, Critical Strike Chance and Attack Speed item with an Energized effect that deals damage and grants movement speed. The unique passive - Bolt, when fully energized, the next attack deals 100 bonus magic damage and grants 45% bonus movement speed for 1.5 seconds.
Hextech Gunblade (Returning item)
Hextech Gunblade gives both AP and AD, spell vamp and lifesteal, and a targeted active dealing damage and slowing the target. Its unique passive - Spell Vamp grants 10% spell vamp.
Unique Active – Lightning Bolt deals 175–253 magic damage (+30% AP) and slow the target by 25% for 1.5 seconds with a cooldown of 60 seconds.
Riot have confirmed that all of these items will be added in with the launch of Season 1 at the start of January 2026. In the meantime, players can play around with each item addition in advance by logging into the PBE, where the entire item roster is already live.
