Riot Games is introducing Ambessa Medarda, a new Noxian bruiser champion in Patch 14.22. Ambessa is highly mobile, similar to K'Sante, and deals significant damage while having high durability.

Riot Games is pushing League of Legends further in today's Patch 14.22, set to introduce a brand new champion: Ambessa Medarda, another fresh Noxian bruiser the roster will soon be welcoming.

Well-known from Arcane's first season, Ambessa boasts just as much hypermobility as K'Sante, killing enemies quickly while having really high durability.

Ambessa's skills introduce her as quite a menace in the field. Her passive turns her into a more mobile champion with Drakehound's Step, which lets her dash a short distance after using an ability. It also increases her attack range and attack speed.

Ambessa's abilities

  • Her Q, Cunning Sweep / Sundering Slam, is a strong, wide auto-attack that does the most damage at the edges and then follows up with a backward slam just for extra oomph.
  • Ambessa's W provides a shield with Repudiation-hers lets Ambessa absorb attacks by champions, monsters, or structures to increase slam damage afterward.
  • Her E, Lacerate, circles her chains to slow enemies while proccing a bonus attack through Drakehound's Step for crowd control.
  • Finally, her R, Public Execution, gives Ambessa armor penetration and healing while allowing her to blink to the furthest enemy champion within her range, suppressing and stunning them with a slam.

This addition promises to break the meta by bringing in a high-mobility and utility bruiser, especially in Noxian-themed lineups.

With much excitement, League of Legends players are looking forward to how she'll shake things up in gameplay, especially with her attribute possessing tank-like aspects and fast attack potentials to introduce the newest tactics both from an offensive and defensive standpoint.
