Nacon reveals Greedfall 2: The Dying World release date and new trailer

Greedfall 2: The Dying World by Spiders Games has its story set three years before the adventures of De Sardet and the events of the first game. The protagonist is a native of Teer Fradee forcefully uprooted and taken to the continent of Gacane.

Gacane is a land scarred by the Malichor plague and ravaged by war. You will need to regain freedom by taking control of your destiny. Players will explore the old continent and uncover its secrets, find allies to join their mission by mastering diplomacy, combat, and manipulation.

What do we know about GreedFall 2: The Dying World so far?

Greedfall 2 will be available on:

• Steam
• PlayStation 5
• Xbox Series X|S

Cyril Tahmassebi the Art Director of Greefalls 2 said that if he were to describe the game in one word, that word would be "Discovery". Because much of the focus of GreedFall 2 was given on the exploration aspect of the game.

Here's what we know from the latest trailer:

• There will be factions from the previous game and new ones
• Players will have the choice to befriend or go against factions
• There will be romance options
• Players will be able to control 4 characters at a time
• Some companions won't be there for the whole adventure
• There are multiple endings based on your choices

While the first game was limited to an island, Greedfall 2 will do the exact opposite, allowing the players to walk in the shoes of an indigenous person discovering a whole new world full of nations and factions.

The developers stated that this game is an improvement upon the unique Rembrandt-inspired art design of Greedfall 1 with a Golden Century feel.
