Helldivers! Are you all tired of getting debris and soot covering your uniform? Are you all tired of getting drenched in sticky bug goop? Well luckily for you, you can now save a ton on your laundry bills as you can now stomp bugs and blast robots without getting yourself dirty.
The latest leak for Helldivers 2 reveals the Mech Suit gameplay and boy can it spread democracy! Even though we have been teased with a brief appearance of the mech suit before, this time we got to see it in action.
Here is what we can deduce from the latest leak:
- Its name is Exo 48
- Only 1 player can use the suit at a time
- The suit can rotate all the way around on its abdomen
- The legs seem to be the weak points of the suit
What do we know about Mech Suits so far in Helldivers 2?
As far as teasers and data mines go, here's everything we know about mech suits so far:
- There are at least 2 kinds of Mech Suits
- Exo 44 has a Gatling gun and Missile Launchers
- Exo 48 fires heavy rounds and tank-like shots
- The mech suits can be called down using stratagems
- The developers call mech suits CombatWalker
- There is a possibility of the mech suits having a "prestige edition" or as the devs call it PresidentReward
Since we can pretty much rest assured that Mech Suits are coming to Helldivers 2 in the upcoming month(s), we hope team Arrowhead is up for the challenge. Currently with the increased server capacity they can support 800,000 concurrent players, but that won't be enough that's for sure.
Helldivers 2 already has a million players across both their platforms and with the addition of Mech Suits, more players are going to join the war for spreading democracy across the cosmos.
So let's hope that team Arrowhead again increases their server so that we don't run into the previous server issues we faced.
