Besides that, she attempts to separate her realm from Outworld, which makes her somewhat of a freedom fighter.
Now it is unclear what role or views NetherRealm Studios will give her in Liu Kang's new universe but one thing is certain - she will be played by Megan Fox, as shown by the trailer below.

At 1:25 in the trailer, Kung Lao asks what Nitara did with Jen's body which is bound to draw a few chuckles from the fans.
