According to CEO of Respawn Entertainment Vince Zampella, a new Titanfall game could see the light of the day sometime in 2019. The confirmation comes just one day after the studio launched their new battle royale game Apex Legends.

It looks like Respawn Entertainment will have their hands full in the current year, as the team looks to deliver regular content updates for their freshly released battle royale Apex Legends and potentially launch another Titanfall title.

This is according to CEO of Respawn Entertainment Vince Zampella who tweeted that there are tons of things currently planned for Apex Legends while the studio is also working on "more Titanfall for later in the year".

It remains to be seen if Respawn are readying an official announcement for Titanfall 3 in the upcoming months. Even though Respawn's battle royale has been received very well and hit more than players in its first day, some players were still disappointed with the lack of info on a new Titanfall game.

Zampella was flooded with questions about Titanfall 3 since the reveal of Apex Legends which is probably the reason why he decided to shed some light on the development process. While it's not much, at least now Titanfall players know that the developers are working hard to deliver the game in 2019. We're likely to hear more about the project as we're getting closer to E3 2019 which is scheduled for mid-June.

As for the Respawn's take on battle royale genre, Apex Legends have been a proper hit on Twitch and YouTube and many players are praising the shooter as the most polished battle royale game yet. It's a free-to-play game and it's currently available on Origin.

Speaking about the surprising reveal, Apex Legends executive producer Drew McCoy recently said that the game was solely Respawn's decision and it wasn't something that EA anticipated.

Apex Legends is expected to receive more content through its seasons which will bring new Legend character classes, weapons and loot. Each season will be three months in length and the first one is starting sometime in March 2019.
