Marvel Rivals Season 6 has launched and NetEase has shared their roadmap for what’s incoming. The new Season 6 roadmap shows a heavy slew of new content that’s coming to Marvel Rivals, including new heroes, maps, skins, events, and more. Both the roster and foundational game systems will expand in the weeks ahead.
Deadpool’s inclusion as the next hero has already garnered attention, but there’s clearly more to Season 6 than one new character drop. From new team-ups and progression enhancements to new maps and mid-season events, NetEase is gearing up to make Season 6 feel like a major jump forward for Marvel Rivals.
Marvel Rivals Season 6 Roadmap Details
Season 6 begins on January 16, beginning a new wave of content and features for Marvel Rivals. Deadpool arrives on launch day as the new playable hero, along with a new Battle Pass system named Museum Ticket.
Nine new skins, extra accessories, and an upgrade to the Hero Proficiency System are also included on Day 1, allowing for increased progression depth and long-term hero mastery.
Players will gain access to a number of new team-up abilities as well when Season 6 launches, such as Parker Power Up and Mr Pool’s Interdimensional Toy Box. The first new limited-time event, Whac-A-Jeff, launches on January 16 alongside the season.
Mid-Season Events and New Map Content
Mid-Season Beginning on January 23, Times Square will play host to the Disco Night event. Two new skins launch alongside this event, along with an in-game celebration for players to participate in.
Next up is the Clobberin’ Club update on January 30, which coincides with a new playable map named Museum of Contemplation. Times Square will also grow with this update, and two more skins as well as a new event Flight Mode! World Tour Merch will be available to players.
Two additional skins are coming on February 2 as well, continuing the flow of new cosmetic content coming during Season 6.
Season 6.5 Begins, Elsa Bloodstone Confirmed
February 13 marks the beginning of Season 6.5, and the next hero arrival is detailed in Marvel Rivals roadmap. Elsa Bloodstone has been confirmed as the next hero players can unlock and play as in Marvel Rivals.
Season 6.5 doesn’t have any new gameplay details spoiled just yet, but players will have to wait until Season 6 officially launches to learn more about her.
