Clash is a competitive team-based tournament system that rewards players for organized play in League of Legends. It's also a sore point for Riot Games, since there is always a host of issues that crop up.
This time, aside from the usual, such as players being unable to participate, the winners of the Shadow Isles Clash Tournament have been denied their rewards, due to a simple bug, which the game is not lacking, to be honest. As these rewards contain at least a skin, even for those that enter Clash with an LP-bought ticket, not receiving rewards is a big blow.
Once this issue has been revealed, Riot Games responded immediately by looking into the matter and promising recompense to all afflicted players.
However, the players that have reached out to Riot support recently, have posted the Riot response on Reddit, in which they state that the refunds will be tickets payers used as a buy-in to Clash.
If this were an issue of players spending a ticket and not being able to participate, that would be one thing, and an apt refund. However, the Clash rewards won fair and square, are worth far more than the tickets spent, in addition to the time spent playing.

Players are, understandably, furious at this development, but Rito state that there is nothing they can do to combat this issue in any other way.
