LEC teams have underperformed at League of Legends World Championship 2022, with only Rogue left standing at the time of writing so it's only natural that teams are taking big steps towards changes in hopes of leaving a better impression in the future international tournaments.
G2 Esports is already in the spotlight as they appear to have decided to split ways with their longtime jungler, Jankos, who has been one of the faces of the team ever since they became the dominant force in LEC.
The news came as a surprise to many fans since they didn't see the jungler as the weak link but according to Wooloo's sources, he was allowed to explore other options.
Flakked, on the other hand, was far from having the fans' favour following the lacklustre performance on the international scene.
As such, not many were surprised that the report put him in the same basket even though Flakked's contract would keep him with G2 until the end of 2024.
Jankos' contract would expire at the end of 2023 but it looks like he might part ways with the team before reaching the five-year milestone in December 2022.
