One of the most prominent League of Legends pros from the NA region might come back next year, after years of inactivity.
Doublelift is one of the all-time greats in North American League of Legends pro scene and he has remained a prominent figure there through streaming and commentary even after retiring.
However, it looks like something sparked the marksman's wish to play professionally once again as there are reports he will be looking to return to LCS next season.
The rumour originates from Wooloo's sources , which seldom prove to be wrong.
According to the sources, Doublelift has been talking with multiple LCS organisations about the return but nothing has been settled yet.
Should he return to pro play next season, it would mean Doublelift is coming back after two years of absence as he retired in late 2020 with TSM being his last team.
Additionally, this would make him one of the oldest active players in the region, although his former support, Aphromoo, beats him in that category.
It is currently unknown which teams the player has been in talks with but there are both rumours and wishes to see him reunited with either Aphro or Bjergsen. Time will tell.
