NEOWIZ's upcoming action RPG, "Lies of P," which falls in the Souls-like category, is generating significant anticipation as it gears up for release next month.
This game is set in a Belle Époque-style city, offering a unique and intriguing backdrop for players to explore.
At Gamescom, IGN treated fans to an extensive gameplay preview, featuring director Jiwon Choi and translator Jiyoon Shin, who shed light on some of the game's new weapons.
Lies of P weapons
Two noteworthy weapons were showcased during the gameplay reveal. The first is the Shichishitō, also known as the Seven-Branched Sword, a formidable heavy weapon.
This two-handed sword may slow down your character's movements but compensates with the ability to discharge electrical pulses for increased damage.
Additionally, it boasts a special move that unleashes a powerful energy wave. The second weapon introduced is a rather unconventional one—a massive wrench, proving that sometimes simplicity can be surprisingly effective.
Lies of P bosses
A new formidable boss known as the "King of Puppets" made its debut, showcasing an impressive reach and a wide array of devastating attacks. This boss can launch projectiles that explode upon impact and initiate area-of-effect blasts that pose a significant threat.
Players will be pleased to know that even when faced with overwhelming odds, they can summon non-player characters (NPCs) to provide assistance, although cooperative play is not an option.
