Lies of P, the most recent Souls-like action-adventure RPG developed by Neowiz Games, is a game brimming with a multitude of intriguing secrets and captivating elements.
In the early stages of the game, specifically in the third level prior to entering the Factory area, you'll encounter a unique opportunity to receive a phone call. The mysterious caller will present you with enigmatic riddles. Each time you stumble upon one of these phone calls throughout your journey, you'll be presented with a riddle. Successfully solving these riddles will grant you a Trinity Key as a reward, which can be used to unlock a Trinity Door located elsewhere in the game world.
In this guide, we'll provide you with the whereabouts of every payphone along with their correct answers, as well as the locations of all the Trinity Rooms. So, without any more waiting, let's get started.
What are Trinity Keys?
Trinity keys serve as rewards for successfully answering the riddles that you are given by the two voices heard from the phones located throughout the different levels.
All payphone call locations
The Factory payphone
Just prior to the bridge that leads to the Factory entrance, turn right and follow the sound of a ringing phone. Pick up the receiver and speak with a mysterious person; later in the conversation, he will refer to himself as the Riddler. After the introduction, the riddle will be presented to you, so without further ado, the answer to this riddle is "Human."
Giving the correct answer will effect your humanity, leaning more towards human nature. The correct answer will also give you a Trinity Key, which you can use to unlock any Trinity Door found scattered throughout the levels.
Malum District payphone
Located above the mini-boss arena within the Malum District area, follow these steps:
After speaking with the two characters you encountered in the factory, proceed until they cease following you. Enter the next building and descend either by dropping or using the ladder. Upon exiting this area, you'll find yourself within the mini-boss arena. Defeat or stealthily bypass the mini boss, then head into the corridor on the opposite side of the water-filled courtyard, make a left turn, and enter the flooded room. Dispose of two puppets and ascend the ladder. The phone booth awaits you on the upper floor, and the correct answer to the riddle is "candle."
All Trinity Door Locations
The Factory
Starting at the Venigni Works Control Room stargazer, head out into the open area where the Puppet of the Future boss is located and make your way towards the Red Fox and Black Cat NPCs.
Once there, go into the area located left of them and walk all the way towards the dirt path with the red tube on the left. Go to the right, towards the massive vent, where three enemies will be located.
Right before the vent, there will be a tunnel located on the left. Keep going through it until you see a green door with a triangle on it. You will need a Trinity Key to open it.
The rewards that can be collected inside the room are Blue Blood's Tailcoat and one Quartz.
St. Frangelico Cathedral Chapel
Starting from the St. Frangelico Cathedral Chapel Stargazer, make your way towards the beams and climb them until you get to the ladder that goes down into a hallway that leads to the falling electrified balls.
After you have run up the slope where the balls fall, climb the ladder located on the right, and you will come across another section with falling electrified balls.
Stick to the left wall and run up. Eventually, you will come across a cubby with a green door with a triangle on it. You will need a Trinity Key to open it.
The rewards that can be collected inside the room are a Black Cat's Amulet and a Monster Sweeper's Hunting Apparel.
Estella Opera House
This Trinity Room is located just before the King of the Puppets boss fight. Upon activating the shortcut to this area, you'll need to cross the beam and avoid the swinging chandelier to get across the hole in the floor. Instead of getting across, just jump down through the hole, and if the visibility is low, simply activate Monad's Lamp.
In this area, you'll notice the green door bearing the Trinity mark. Provided you own one of the Trinity keys, you can unlock this door and open the safe inside, which contains one Quartz and one Belford Superior Corrosion Resistance Converter.
Keep in mind that this is not the final number of all Payphone and Trinity Door locations, as we discover more of them, we will add them to this list.
