One of the most anticipated action RPGs of the year has had its release date leaked by a store, an action that has become a trend over the past few years.
Update: The leaked release date has been confirmed officially. Demo is available now on all platforms.
According to Amazon Japan, Lies of P is set to release on September 19, 2023.
Since this date falls on a Tuesday, there isn't much reason to doubt it, even though Neowiz didn't officially announce the news just yet.
However, this date is around one month later than what the storefronts are showing currently, with Steam, PS Store and Xbox Store all showing the game as coming in August 2023.
It is not excluded that the actual release date will be unveiled during the Summer Games Fest 2023, which is happening on June 8, 2023, roughly half an hour after publishing this article.
For those not in the loop, Lies of P is a Souls-like that takes heavy inspiration from Pinocchio, the influential fable by Carlo Collodi.
Players will assume the role of Pinocchio, who is a mechanoid in this imagining of the classic character, as he attempts to find Geppetto, his creator.
A Souls-like with an automaton looking for the person that put them together is eerily similar to Steelrising , although this one is not set in an alternative time during the French revolution.
Lies of P is coming to PC, PlayStation 4 and 5 as well as Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.
