Blasphemous 2 is finally out now on all platforms and thanks to developer Game Kitchen and publisher team 17, we had the chance to play this game over the last two weeks to prepare our review and the content you're reading right now.
We've spent over 50 hours with Blasphemous 2, beating the game twice and collecting pretty much everything there is to find. In this guide, we'll focus on ranking the game's bosses, which are the ultimate challenge of this action platformer.
Blasphemous 2 has a total of eleven bosses and you'll need to fight all of them to complete the game. Below, you'll find the full list of bosses as well as full ranking, from the one we found to be the easiest, all the way to the hardest foe.

Blasphemous 2 bosses ranked
Below, you'll find all eleven Blasphemous 2 ranked from easiest to hardest. Keep in mind that this is the opinion of the author of this guide so you may find it different to what you've experienced in Blasphemous 2. We did try our best to make this as objective as possible, but some bosses might prove to be a bigger challenge to a certain group of players, and that's completely fine.
1 The Faceless One, Chisel of Oblivion
Difficulty: 2/10
This is just a tutorial boss with only two attacks that are fairly easy to avoid so therefore it's first on our list. The Faceless One should not pose a challenge but for newcomers to this genre, it may take a couple of tries to take him down.
2 The Great Perceptor Radames
Difficulty: 4/10
The second boss in Blasphemous 2 is your first serious challenge in the game. While Radames doesn't have a set of attacks that will make you rage at the monitor or TV, he can still be a formidable opponent, especially in his second phase when he gets up to his feet.
His attacks consist of a long melee slam, mystical damage fireballs and a charge attack, while in the second phase, he adds a glass shards attack and new variations of charge and fireballs. Your best bet against this one is to keep your distance and use Veredicto for long-range attacks.
3 Orospina, Lady Embroiderer
Difficulty: 5/10
Interestingly, Blasphemous 2 balances bosses in a great way you'll pretty much find that every boss is harder than the previous one.
With Orospina, the difficulty gets upped one notch as she has some pretty dangerous attacks, especially in later stages, when you get her health close to zero. She will become faster as the fight goes on, so you'll want to get her done during the easy stage, when her movement speed is normal.
Orospina's difficulty lies in her teleporting skills, which can be very hard to avoid but smart players will use this to their advantage by positioning themselves for an attack while she recovers.
4 Afilaor, Sentinel of the Emery
Difficulty: 5.5/10
Afiloar is an aggressive and fast boss that won't hesitate to attack and certainly won't be waiting for you to make the first move. He has a strong set of attacks that will devour your health bar so concentration is the key here. Watch for his spinning attack in the latter part of the fight, when he'll spin several times across the arena.
With both strong melee and ranged attacks, beating Afiloar certainly won't be an easy task. We recommend Ruego Al Alba for this fight with Blood Pact attacks.
Beating Afiloar is key to progressing towards a double jump skill, that is necessary for progressing.
5 Lesmes of the Confraternity of Incorruptible Flesh
Difficulty: 6/10
The first and the only duo boss in Blasphemous 2. This is pretty much the only reason why Lesmes is above some other bosses on this list. On their own, Lesmes and his buddy Infanta are very easy to kill but the true challenge is to fight both of these at the same time.
The fight has three stages. In the first one, you fight Lesmes alone, the second stage is a fight against Infanta and the third one is a fight against both. The battle is a bit chaotic with all sorts of ranged attacks flying on screen but the key is to stay calm and focus on killing Infanta first. The rest of the fight is a cakewalk.
6 Odon of the Confraternity of Salt
Difficulty: 6.5/10
The boss fight with Odon comes in two parts. He'll first confront you as you pass the bridge at Sea of Ink towards Sunken Cathedral. In the first encounter, he won't appear as a true boss as his health will be much lower and his attack set won't be nearly as deadly as later on.
The true boss fight is much harder and Odon himself will become much more aggressive. Keep an eye out for his spawning of minions and try to avoid the attacks from above by dashing all the time.
I must add that this arena is one of the most visually appealing boss arenas in the game, set on stunning rocks looking at distant storms and ocean as you can see in the image above.
7 Benedicta of the Endless Orison
Difficulty: 6.5/10
Benedicta would not be higher than Odon on this list if the arena where you fight her was a standard arena. This boss fight basically comes shortly after you collect the aerial dash ability and it serves as a test of your double jumping and dashing skills as it's set on two platforms with portals on each side.
In the second phase of this fight, Benedicta will destroy one platform, leaving you with very little space to land on, but once you get comfortable with dash and double jumping, combined with the portals on the side, this boss fight becomes much easier.
8 Svsona, Fermosa Fembra
Difficulty: 7/10
Svsona is a very challenging boss with some of the most powerful attacks of all Blasphemous 2 bosses. Her beam of light will melt your HP, while the two variants of lightning balls attack require careful and precise use of traversal skills like double jumping and air dash.
Additionally, she will constantly float in the air, so you'll have to jump and dash in order to reach her and deal damage. Svsona's attacks are not the hardest to avoid but she will spam them over and over again and has plenty of health so this is more like an endurance fight than a test of your skills.
Luckily, you will get help from Yerma in this one too, but you'll need to do a side quest for her before you start the fight, otherwise, she will die before the fight even starts, as you can see in our screenshot.
9 Sinodo, Hymn of a Thousand Voices
Difficulty: 7.5/10
Honestly, many of you may not put Sinodo this high on the list but I had a very difficult time with this boss. It took me a while to figure out how to approach this fight but ultimately, I was able to beat Sinodo by staying patient and using the Blood Pact to deal major damage and heal myself in the process.
Sinodo's attacks are very hard to avoid as they have a large range and leave very little space to manoeuvre between all the fireballs and the spiralling attack that you can see in the screenshot.
10 Devotion Incarnate
Difficulty: 8/10
The final boss of Blasphemous 2. What makes Devotion Incarnate a proper challenge is the set of attacks that can make you feel like there's no space on the screen where you'd be safe.
At certain stages of the fight, you'll have to use the floating platforms to move around as the floor will be covered in deadly flames. This part is extremely difficult as Devotion Incarnate will throw everything at you, and avoiding the attacks can be pretty hard since there's so little space where you can avoid taking damage.
Still, you can take all his attacks and outgun him if you upgrade your health and blood vials to maximum capacity. At that point, the fight becomes a lot easier so we recommend you do that before starting the fight.
11 Eviterno, First of the Penitents
Difficulty: 9/10
Eviterno is the hardest boss in Blasphemous 2. This boss fight occurs just before you reach the final boss, Devotion Incarnate. The fight has two stages with the first stage being fairly simple as Eviterno uses a couple of attack patterns we've seen in the fight against Svsona. Eviterno also gets very vulnerable to attacks during his summoning of a giant fireball, making him an easy target for a couple of combos.
However, the reason why I think Eviterno is the hardest boss in Blasphemous 2 is his super aggressive second phase, when Eviterno takes the fight to a new, stunning arena, where you can see the final boss in the background.
In the first part of the second phase, Eviterno almost exclusively fights on the ground with a couple of jump attacks. Use this to your advantage. Also, his attacks are super fast and he'll often teleport from one part of the arena to another, to get closer to you and unleash devastating slashing attacks.
He has a couple of powerful ranged attacks that can be hard to avoid due to their speed and height but the most devastating attack is his aerial circular slash that literally covers more than half of your screen. The range of this attack is absolutely crazy and I had a really hard time avoiding it.
Last but certainly not least, Eviterno will unleash his ultimate attack, summoning every other boss to attack you for a brief second. This is a very fast and deadly sequence and if you survive it, the chances of winning the dual will grow significantly.
And that wraps up this ranking guide of Blasphemous 2 bosses. We had a lot of fun fighting all these formidable foes and wish you the best of luck on your own adventure against them.
