League of Legends has undergone significant changes in recent patches, starting with patch 13.10, which introduced item reworks that had a major impact on the game's dynamics. Alongside these item changes, smaller adjustments were made to various champions to accommodate the new item system.
Patch 13.12, on the other hand, brought significant adjustments targeting the professional play scene, including nerfs to champions like Zeri, Yuumi, and K'Sante, as well as item changes to balance the Enchanter Meta. Additionally, notable changes were made to Lucian and Rumble.
Now that patch 13.12 has been released, Riot's focus has shifted towards patch 13.13. As part of this focus, Riot Phlox has announced a Quality of Life (QoL) update for Zyra, although specific details about the update are currently limited.
Zyra changes in LoL Patch 13.13
Zyra's passive ability, Garden of Thorns, has received adjustments.
- The amount of damage her plants take from area-of-effect spells has been reduced from 4 HP to 3 HP.
- Additionally, the bonus damage her plants deal to non-epic monsters has been changed from 150% to a scaling range of 40-100 bonus damage based on her level.
In her W ability, Rampant Growth, the number of seeds obtained on the first rank-up has been increased from 1 to 2.
The E ability, Grasping Roots, no longer prevents the use of Flash during its casting.
For her ultimate ability, Stranglethorns, there have been changes to the casting mechanism.
- Instead of walking to the desired position, Zyra now casts the ability at its maximum range.
- Furthermore, the damage output of the Stranglethorns' missiles has been adjusted from 4 per second to 16 per second.
The implemented changes bring significant benefits to Zyra's performance and overall gameplay experience. These adjustments enhance her viability in the jungle role and improve the efficiency of her ability casting system.
Players will appreciate the enhanced threat posed by Zyra's plants, providing a more satisfying gameplay experience. These changes have been long-awaited by Zyra players, fulfilling their desires for improvements in her gameplay.
