Patch 25.S1.4 from Riot Games introduces new League of Legends updates which include champion buffs alongside nerfs and adjustments.
The upcoming patch will alter the game's meta through extensive champion changes which aim to deliver a more balanced gameplay experience. This article outlines every champion adjustment included in League of Legends Patch 25.S1.4.
Champion buffs
A group of champions will receive performance enhancements for different roles through buffs.
Here are the key changes:
Ashe
Q - Ranger’s Focus
- The damage per flurry now scales at 111 / 117 / 123 / 129 / 135% AD compared to the previous scaling at 110 / 115 / 120 / 125 / 130% AD.
R - Enchanted Crystal Arrow
- The basic attack damage values changed to 250 / 450 / 650 from the previous values of 200 / 400 / 600.
- AP ratio rose from 120% AP to 150% AP.
- Removed: The ability now inflicts full damage to secondary targets instead of reduced damage.
Ekko
Q - Timewinder
- The base outgoing damage values for Ekko's Q ability Timewinder have been adjusted to 80 / 95 / 110 / 125 / 140 from the previous values of 70 / 85 / 100 / 115 / 130.
Jayce
W2 - Hyper Charge
- The bonus attack speed has been raised to 1000% from its previous 300%.
Yasuo
Passive - Way of the Wanderer
- Removed: The critical damage penalty of 10% that Yasuo previously experienced has been removed.
Champion nerfs
The game developers are reducing the power of multiple champions because their dominance in the current meta needs to be balanced.
Kalista
W - Sentinel
- Mark damage has been decreased to 10% / 12% / 14% / 16% / 18% of an opponent’s maximum health from its previous levels of 14% / 15% / 16% / 17% / 18%.
Kog’Maw
Q - Caustic Spittle
- Kog’Maw’s Q ability Caustic Spittle now deals 80 / 125 / 170 / 215 / 260 base damage instead of 90 / 140 / 190 / 240 / 290.
Champion adjustments
Riot Games are making extensive changes to some champions for better game balance.
Diana
Passive - Moonsilver Blade
- Cleave monster damage now deals 200% instead of 300%.
Q - Crescent Strike
- The base damage has been increased to 70 / 105 / 140 / 175 / 210 from its original values of 60 / 95 / 130 / 165 / 200.
W - Pale Cascade
- The base damage per orb now reaches 20 / 32 / 44 / 56 / 68 which is an increase from the previous 18 / 30 / 42 / 54 / 66.
- The base damage values changed from 54 / 90 / 126 / 162 / 198 to 60 / 96 / 132 / 168 / 204.
Elise
Passive - Spider Queen
- Spiderling base damage now stands at 10 / 20 / 30 / 40 whereas it was previously at 8 / 14 / 20 / 26.
W1 - Volatile Spiderling
- The base damage values have changed to 60 / 100 / 140 / 180 / 220 from the previous numbers of 60 / 105 / 150 / 195 / 240.
- The AP ratio was decreased from 95% AP to 75% AP.
W2 - Skittering Frenzy
- Cooldown reduced to 8 seconds from 10.
- Duration increased to 5 seconds from 3.
- The bonus attack speed values have been updated to 60 / 75 / 90 / 105 / 120% from their previous 60 / 70 / 80 / 90 / 100% settings.
Mel
Q - Radiant Volley
- Cast range reduced to 950 from 1000.
- Bolt speed reduced to 4500 from 5000.
W - Rebuttal
- The skill duration now lasts 0.75 seconds instead of 1 second.
- The base damage modifier now stands at 40 / 45 / 50 / 55 / 60% as opposed to the previous settings of 40 / 47.5 / 55 / 62.5 / 70%.
E - Solar Snare
- Orb root duration has been adjusted to new values of 1.25 / 1.5 / 1.75 / 2 / 2.25 seconds from previous values of 1.75 / 1.875 / 2 / 2.125 / 2.25.
- The orb damage values were adjusted to 60 / 105 / 150 / 195 / 240 from their original 60 / 100 / 140 / 180 / 220.
- The Orb AP ratio rose from 50% AP to 60% AP.
R - Golden Eclipse
- Per-stack Active Ability ratio now gives 3.5% AP instead of 2.5% AP.
