League of Legends is in for a shakeup with the upcoming patch 13.21. Riot Games has some substantial changes in store for Brand and Zyra, two champions who are going to see their gameplay transformed.
The changes for both Brand and Zyra will go live with the release of Patch 13.21 on Wednesday, October 25, 2023.

Brand's Transformation: A Jungle Journey
Brand, often known as the Burning Vengeance, is a versatile champion found in both mid and support roles. Riot aims to expand his horizons with jungle-specific adjustments.
Here's what's in store:
- Base Stats: A slight decrease in health from 590 to 570, balanced by an increase in armor from 22 to 27.
- Attack Speed: A significant boost from 0.625 to 0.681.
- Growth Factors: Health growth per level is bumped up from 102 to 105, while armor growth decreases from 4.7 to 4.2. Attack speed growth goes up from 1.36% to 2%.
- Passive – Blaze: Monster damage amplification surges from 120% to 250%.
- E – Conflagration: A modest nerf to damage from 70/95/120/145/170 (+ 55% AP) to 65/90/115/140/165 (+ 55% AP).
These changes aim to make Brand a viable jungle pick while preventing him from becoming overwhelmingly strong in other roles.
Zyra's Role Changes: Support and Jungle On the Horizon
Zyra has consistently performed well as a support in League of Legends. Patch 13.21 has something special in store for her. The adjustments are designed to make her viable in both Support and Jungle roles.

- Base Stats: An increase in attack speed from 0.625 to 0.681.
- Passive – Garden of Thorns: Base damage adjustment from 20 – 100 (based on level) (+ 15% AP) to 20 – 88 (based on level) (+ 18% AP).
- Q – Deadly Spines: Damage transformation from 60/95/130/165/200 (+ 60% AP) to 60/100/140/180/220 (+ 65% AP).
- E – Grasping Roots: Damage shift from 60/105/150/195/240 (+ 50% AP) to 60/95/130/165/200 (+ 60% AP).
In summary, Zyra's damage numbers are being reconfigured to ensure her effectiveness as both a support and jungle champion. The changes will likely affect her early-game power in the support role, but her late-game strength should see significant improvement.
