The anticipated release date for Patch 13.6 in League of Legends is Wednesday, March 22nd, 2023.
League of Legends is about to receive another update that will bring further modifications to the game, which has been constantly evolving throughout the year.
The most significant update so far has been Patch 13.5, which introduced several reworks and numerous buffs and nerfs to various champions, as well as major changes to Pantheon and Ashe. Additionally, the update affected jungle gameplay and made alterations to ARAM, Runes, and Plated Steelcaps.
These changes are expected to shift the game's meta in a new direction, with the Azir rework requiring different tactics from professional players, and jungle modifications having a widespread impact on League of Legends.
Champion buffs
The upcoming patch will bring buffs to four champions, including Ashe as an ADC, Galio, Talon, and Vayne.
Ashe
Ashe's changes in Patch 13.5 focused on her role as an ADC instead of a Support, and Riot is making minor adjustments to further improve her win rate and pick rate, which are already relatively healthy at around 48-50%.
Galio
The details of Galio's changes are still uncertain, but the aim is probably to make him more relevant in countering mages, considering his win rate of 50-51% in different ELOs.
Talon
Talon's buff is likely to benefit players in mid to low ELOs since his performance in higher ELOs is already satisfactory. The buff will not be substantial to avoid overshooting.
Vayne
Vayne's win rate is below 50%, and it decreases or remains stagnant as the ELO level increases. Vayne's gameplay relies heavily on player skill, and Riot might believe that she requires a buff to enhance her win rate. However, it is crucial that the buff is not excessive, or it could lead to an abundance of Vayne players in the top lane during Solo Queue games.
Champion nerfs
The upcoming patch will bring nerfs to four champions, namely Yuumi, Aurelion Sol, Veigar, and Zeri.
Veigar
Veigar's popularity as a pick in the ADC role is causing concern for Riot, and they are reducing his power. The extent of the nerf will determine whether or not this strategy will remain viable.
Aurelion Sol
Aurelion Sol has been a prominent champion across all ELOs since his release, and he has received two nerfs out of the last three patches. This nerf is much needed to address his dominance.
Zeri
Zeri is a favorite partner for Enchanters and has a decent win rate, but this nerf is likely aimed at her domination in Pro Play. Riot must balance her gameplay for both regular and Pro Play. Hopefully, this nerf will limit Zeri's influence in games.
Yuumi
Yuumi's rework has led to her being overpowered, and her R and Q abilities will be nerfed in Patch 13.6, which is well-deserved.
System changes
The upcoming patch will feature a single system buff, which will only affect Nashor's Tooth. This change is expected to benefit auto attack and on-hit based AP champions, though the details of the buff are currently unknown.
On the other hand, four system nerfs are expected in the upcoming patch. The popular Navori Quickblades and Bloodthirster items are among those getting nerfed, along with two runes - Lethal Tempo and Legend: Bloodline. The changes to the runes are still unknown, but it is expected that these nerfs will have a significant impact on the game. Additionally, Dragons will also be taking a hit in the upcoming patch.
Skins
In this upcoming patch, two new skins will be introduced: Milio and Faerie Court Milio. Additionally, the Faerie Court skin line will feature Faerie Court Ezreal, Faerie Court Fiora, Faerie Court Kalista, Faerie Court Karma (Legendary), Faerie Court Katarina, Prestige Faerie Court Katarina, and Faerie Court Seraphine.
Another new skin, Ashen Guardian Shen, will also be added as the final addition to the Mythic skin line. Here is a gallery showcasing all the splash arts for these skins.
