League of Legends is in for big updates with Patch 25.S1.1, which is set to arrive in early January 2025. This patch brings in a lot of changes, including new items, champion updates, and a Noxus-themed map to align with the theme of the season. Here's everything you need to know.
This new Riot's patch is supposed to hit live early January. Server maintenance times are as follows:
- NA: 3:00 AM PT
- EUW: 5:00 AM UK time
- EUNE: 3:00 AM CET
Changes in map and system
Summoner's Rift will get a Noxus-inspired look, featuring redesigned turrets and inhibitors, and the Nexus. Of course, one of the main features about Nexus Turrets is that they will respawn after some time has passed, thus helping in team defense during the later stages of the game.
A new epic monster, Atakhan, the demon of bloodshed, will spawn in the river depending on team activity in the match. Four new runes replace the older ones: Axiom Arcanist, Deep Ward, Sixth Sense, and Grisly Mementos.
Champion updates
Ashe
- Passive: Bonus damage added to basic attacks based on critical strike chance.
- Q: Increased attack speed and flurry damage.
- W: Higher base damage and adjusted AD scaling.
Cassiopeia
- Passive: Extra movement speed if her team secures the Blessing of Noxus.
Kalista
- Mana regeneration growth improved.
- Q: Higher mana cost and reduced base damage.
- E: Adjusted scaling and damage per spear.
Varus
- Mana cost changes to Piercing Arrow and Hail of Arrows.
- Adjustments to Blighted Quiver’s on-hit damage.
New skins
The following champions will be joining the Masque of the Black Rose skin line: Elise, Ezreal, Katarina - Prestige Edition, Renata Glasc, Samira, and Vladimir.
These changes will definitely renew gameplay and strategies in the new season. Be sure your client is updated and ready to dive into the changes!
