Bandai Namco have finally managed to fix the connection problems the first two sessions of Jump Force open beta were plagued with. The beta servers are now working like they should, with matchmaking being exceptionally quick and seamless.
With the first two sessions of open beta being a failure due to numerous server issues, Bandai Namco were forced to cancel the remaining rounds and them for later. The publisher explained that the reason for this was the fact that they weren't satisfied with the online experience, as a large number of people weren't able to log in and participate in the beta.
Bandai Namco stated that their primary focus during the server downtime will be to fix the dreaded matchmaking problems, in order to ensure smooth and stable online play for everyone. It took them just over ten days to the new open beta sessions, and many players from around the world were waiting with bated breath to see if the connection issues have indeed been resolved.
Well, the first round of the new open beta schedule is over for today and we are pleased to report that we did not experience any lag or connection issues throughout the entirety of the session. Matchmaking was exceptionally fast - so much so that we never even got the chance to take part in the Practice Battle mode that you can join while waiting for a new match because the game would pair us up with a new opponent in a matter of seconds.
The game's official has also seen players praise Bandai Namco's efforts of fixing the problems and delivering a stable experience this time around.
As compensation for the issues that ocurred in the first two sessions of the , Bandai Namco have decided to extend the new rounds by adding an additional day and prolonging the sessions by two hours. The second session of the beta will start tomorrow at 05:00 if you're in Europe (CET), and if you're in the US, you will be able to join the fight tonight from 20:00 (PST). You will have five hours of play with each session, so that's plenty of fights for you to take part in.
