This Week at Bungie revealed more information about triumphs and seals' state once Destiny 2: Beyond Light launches and also announced the date of the next Iron Banner week.
Players hunting for Pinnacles in Destiny 2 will get another chance on September 8, 2020, when Lord Saladin comes back with his snowball-happy version of Crucible Control.
Of course, we all know it as Iron Banner and the bounties will be once again available for farming, which normally doesn't take long but keep in mind that all the sweaty stacks usually complete their farming in the first two to three days of the event. In other words, waiting a little bit before jumping in will increase your chances of enjoying IB if you are a solo player.
As for the triumphs, the short version is that Beyond Light will come with an updated Triumphs screen and some will become unavailable due to content getting vaulted. Stuff from the Destiny Content Vault (DCV) will still be displayed for you, under the Legacy Triumphs tab while the total Triumph score will be displayed on the updated screen.
With several locations and activities going into the vault, their associated triumphs and seals will be unobtainable. The seals that will not be obtainable when Beyond Light kicks off are:
- A Shadow Rises - Shadow
- Reckoner - Reckoner
- Black Armory - Blacksmith
- Destinations - Wayfarer
- Lore - Chronicler
- Season 5 through Season 11 titles
If you want to check out the seals that will still be obtainable when the expansion launches, you can check out This Week at Bungie from September 3, 2020 .
