Ghost of Yōtei is getting a surprise crossover with The Last of Us. Players will be able to unlock an armor set inspired by The Last of Us’ Clickers.
The outfit launches October 1 alongside Ghost of Yōtei Complete Edition, the Echoes of Sekigahara expansion, and Most Wanted mode. Most Wanted will be a free mode accessible to all players.
Unlocking The Last of Us Armor in Ghost of Yōtei
To unlock the armor set, players will have to participate in Most Wanted. However, once unlocked, you’ll be able to use the new outfit in all of Ghost of Yōtei’s game modes and content.
The armor set’s design pulls inspiration from the Clickers found in The Last of Us. You can spot the infamous growths on the helmet. Echoes of these growths can also be found on Atsu’s shoulders and bracers.
Elsewhere on the armor set, Ghost of Yōtei leans into a black-and-purple color palette. The drastic change gives Atsu a stark contrast to her regular armor sets. Details about the armor perks or any upgrade versions have not been announced yet.
Ghost of Yōtei’s Most Wanted Mode Adds New Content
That armor set isn’t the only new addition coming to Ghost of Yōtei. Most Wanted is described as a roguelike survival mode. It’ll let players experience Ghost of Yōtei outside of the main campaign.
Players will also be able to play as Jin Sakai in Most Wanted. That means fans of Ghost of Tsushima can play as the previous hero once more.
The mode launching October 1 is free, so players can earn some cool new armor by hopping into Most Wanted.
