Activision have just shared the full Caldera map which is coming to Call of Duty Warzone in the major Pacific update on December 8.
Call of Duty Warzone is getting a brand new map set on a lush, Pacific island. Activision already showed us small glimpses of this new battleground through trailers but today, the publisher have revealed the first look at the full map as well as its points of interest.
The map seems to have similar locations to Warzone's original map - locations like mines, docks, and airfield - can be seen on the map.
We noticed that the map does not have any water parts, most of it is landmass. Also, there seems to be a larger emphasis on smaller villages rather than one large city.
The map certainly looks interesting but until we get to play a couple of matches of the new Warzone Pacific update, we can't say if it's an improvement over the Verdansk map, which, does feel properly balanced and more importantly, it's fun to play.
Call of Duty Warzone Pacific update is officially coming on December 8, 2021. The update will launch across all platforms including PC, PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
In addition to the Caldera map, the Pacific content drop will also introduce the Rebirth Island map, Vanguard Royale as well as new combat vehicles.
